I graduated from University of San Diego almost a decade ago. The 4 years of my college career there I think I attened only a handful of sporting events. To say it kindly, USD was not known for their sports. But in the past few years the Toreros have started to make headlines in both football and basketball.
Tonight my dear hubby took me to a USD men's basketball game against Gonzaga at the Jenny Craig Pavilion. He won the tickets through a sports talk show. I was shocked to see the sold out "Slim Gym" ... the USD spirit squad ... the big name sponsors! It was a fun time (even though we lost).
