do it for the boob

10 years ago my aunt lost her fight against breast cancer. Her birthday 67th birthday just past last month. I think of her often.

Did you know ... each year, 182,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer and 43,300 die. One woman in eight either has or will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. If detected early, the five-year survival rate for breast cancer exceeds 95%. Mammograms are among the best early detection methods, yet 13 million U.S. women 40 years of age or older have never had a mammogram.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and The Breast Cancer Site is running their 5th Annual Pink Ribbon Challenge. Please click the button on the right hand side of my site to help fund free mammograms for women in need.
