nablopomo 23: it's in the details

Today Little 'Ny was sitting on my lap facing me while she was drinking her milk. We were staring out her bedroom window. I had a lullaby CD playing in the background. It was incredibly relaxing and peaceful.

I just sat there staring at her face ... the shape of her eyes, the curl in her lashes, the flecks of color in eyes, the slope of her nose, the pucker of her lips, the dimple next to her chin ...


It is just amazing to me how your offspring inherits some of your physical features and some his/her father's. I could stare at Little 'Ny for hours.
