my list

Hubs and I love watching Friends. Did you ever see the Friends episode The One With Frank Jr.? Its the one where they each have a list of celebrities they are allowed to sleep with they met them in person. Well, Hubs and I have always joked about which celebrities would be on our lists.

Hubs' list not only has 5 female celebrities, but he also has a list of alternates that just seems to keep growing ... and growing ... and growing. His constants are: Mariska Hargitay and Eva Mendes.

Me? I realized this last night while I was watching The Holiday (my new favorite movie) that my list is not made up of the celebrities themselves, but the character that they play. So, here are the 5:

1. Jude Law as Graham in The Holiday - In real life he is a total cad, but in this movie he is so vulnerable that it makes me melt.

2. Brad Pitt as Michael Sullivan in Sleepers - Strange choice, I know, since he has played so many sexy characters. The plot of this movie gives his charater so much depth. And, that scene with him and Minnie Driver on the subway brought a tear to my eye.

3. Johnny Depp as Roux in Chocolat - He delivered the line "I'll come around some time and get that squeak out of your door" with such sensuality it gave me goose bumps.

4. Jesse L. Martin as Dr. Greg Butters on Ally McBeal - If you didn't watch the show you missed out on one of the sexist serenades.

5. Justin Timberlake - Ok, he is not a character in a movie. Because of his CS FutureSex/LoveSounds, he replaced Hugh Grant as William Thacker in Notting Hill (some may find it annoying, but I just love the bumbling, shy Brit).

So, there you have it. Now it is your turn ... who are your favorite characters that would be on your list?

  1. Great list!!! We saw that episode (DH went through a phase where he watched Friends every single day) and talked about it. He only had one gal on his list - Jessica Alba. For me, Brandon Boyd from Incubus, Brad Pitt from Interview w the Vampire, Omar Epps from The Program and Leonardo DiCaprio from Romeo and Juliet.
