As I mentioned in my previous post I had been crying all morning. I found myself on the verge of a panic attack and desperate for clarity. Zoeyjane quickly responded to my IM telling me to call her immediately. After about 30 minutes of sobbing she talked me off my ledge and told me exactly what I knew, but couldn't see thanks to the delusions attempting to impair my judgment. I can always count on her to break down the situation in a way I can consume without gagging. Periodically through out the day she checked up on my and I on her.
In the afternoon Miss mentioned to me she was only 45 minutes away and said she was bringing her son down so we could have dinner. I quickly IM'ed her the directions to my parents' house (since that was where I was) and started counting the hours for their arrival. Chatting with Miss and watching out kids play together cleared out the last of my tears.
I have no doubt in my mind that these two women would support me in any and every way they can. Just because I met them online doesn't mean they are any less human than I am. In fact, they are even better in person (or over the phone) than they are online.
Side #4 is down. (And, I guess side #6 is down too since I posted picks of both our kids!)
Yea! Woo hoo! I'm so proud of you!

ReplyDeleteYay for side number 4 being broken down. *hugs*
ReplyDeleteSo proud of you always! Spending time with you and your parents was a blast and the perfect end to that day. I can really see how you became the woman you are today because of them. And the best part is, that Princess D is already just as kind and sweet as her mom. You're on the right track here babe. I'm glad to be there to witness it.

I'm glad you have people in your life that are there to help and support you.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your tears dried, hey. :)
Thanks for the kind words Miss. Enjoyed your visit and your son is just as lovable as you! I'll send the "spiders" he forgot when I get your address.
ReplyDeleteRLM's mommy,
ReplyDeleteHe totally remembered that halfway home! Guess we gotta come back out so he can go golfing too!
PS RLM - When do I get to see the pics your dad took? Now I know where you learned to weild a camera!
Awesome. Even if I just said it, I'll say it again - I've met tons of people from online, safely, carefully, and they have all been wonderful. Online friends doesn't mean imaginary friends. They can be just as real.
ReplyDeleteYou're lucky indeed.
ReplyDeleteI've made a few long-term friendships on these interwebs, and I LOVE meeting the in person.
My goal is to rub up on all fabulous ladies of the grand interweb. And you, lady, are fabulous.
I'm glad the feeling is mutual, babe.
ReplyDeleteSometimes we just need reminders that grayness is just temporary. And that it's allowed, too.
Love.
