My Cup Runneth Over

Today I usually post my weekly addition to my 100 Random Things About Me, but I have actually decided to save that for this Sunday's Modern Mom Challenge and instead tell everyone who reached out to me the past few days thank you from the depths of my heart.

I guess I didn't realize how much of my personal pain came across in my post Boxed In. So much of me is still figuring out my happy, my purpose, my strength. Saturday all of these things came to a head because of some simple things people have said in regards to my internet exposure. Thanks for therapy and friends I have realized everything I do has a purpose. I like to think before I react which is why writing is a better medium for me. I chose my words carefully with intent. I chose what I want to share publicly with purpose.

I never want to revisit the topic about what is right or wrong about my blog again. Because ultimately the criticism is about what people THINK I am doing is right or wrong in THEIR world. But, what I put on my blog is right in MY world. I write with intent. I share with purpose.

The past few days have shown me that there is more love in MY world than I knew there was. Thank you all for reading so closely, recognizing my pain, reaching out to help, telling me not to quit.

  2. ....exactly! those that DON"T know you will relate their own world to what you write and those that DO know you will feel they are being targeted, feel left out, etc.,so the claws and fangs come out to attack!
    So, write on RLM!

  3. I think we all have days when we feel like letting go. No one can fault us for that. I take comfort in knowing that when days like that hit me, I have friends like you and T to help pull me out.

  4. LOL! I get so much shit from stupid people who think that I do my marriage wrong by having a male best friend. What these people are doing is called "projecting." What they think THEY would do in your situation is what they are projecting onto you with their reactions.

    Fuck them all, I say.

  5. You should never let anyone stop you from doing this. You are good at it and you seem to really enjoy it. Once upon a time... I deleted 3 years worth of blogging and vowed to never blog again because some jerk ass people were making my life miserable. I missed it. It took me about 4 months of being blog free to realize what a huge mistake I had made. Then I created my current one. It gave me a fresh start.

  6. Yikes! Hope you're feeling better now. Life is too short to not have fun - as we say at the hospice house where I volunteer, "Every Day's A Gift." Do what makes YOU happy!
hugs to you and D (loved the Xmas pic!)...
