100 Random Things About Me: Music To My Soul

I love all kinds of music ... the kind that makes me want to dance while sitting in my cubicle at work responding to emails or the kind that makes me want to sing out loud (very badly) to while driving in my car. But, there are a handful of songs that I simply love because of how the lyrics speak to my soul and evoke a feeling that overwhelms me:

61) U2 - Sweetest Thing

62) Dixie Chicks - Lullaby

63) Tim McGraw - She's My Kind of Rain

64) Taylor Swift - White Horse

65) Faith Hill - Breathe

So, tell me what songs overwhelm you?

  2. Hey Nic...agree with the comment above - I am such a music addict and all over the board in genres that its hard to pick but here are a few of mine...
*O Holy Night - It's my favorite Christmas song of all time and it brings tears to my eyes everytime!
*Here without you - 3 Doors Down. This song came out right around when Mike was in Korea and I was missing him so much!
*I Loved Her First - its the song I danced to with my dad at our wedding.
*When You Say Nothing At All by Alison Krauss - (big sigh)...

  3. This one's a no brainer:

    "Imagine" The Beatles
"I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" U2 (The Rattle and Hum version is particularly good)
    "Philosophy" Ben Folds
    "Virgina Woolf" Indigo Girls
