Her fairy godmother

My daughter turned 4 years old on Thursday! (Where did the years go? Where did my baby go?) As her birthday gift I took the day off of work and treated her to a day at Disneyland. The lovely Miss met us there and treating my little princess to a wonderful time at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!

This was the ultimate Disney experience for Princess D. She sat patiently in her chair soaking in every second of her pampering session. I don't think I have ever seen my daughter sit so still for such a long period of time. In the end she was hair sprayed, glittered, painted ... and HAPPY!

Afterward we visited Minnie Mouse's house and checked out Innoventions (which if you haven't checked this exhibit out I recommend you do ... Princess D loved the story time). We rode It's a Small World, the Mark Twain Riverboat, Pirates of the Caribbean (after some convincing), and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. We ate lots of yummy amusement park food (burgers, an obscenely large pickle and the most decadent cupcakes) and of course we saw some characters.

After 7 hours of fun in the heat it was time to head home. It was a great day and we can't wait to go back. Thank you again Miss! Princess D loved her birthday present ... you are her personal fairy godmother!
