England 2011 - Day 7

The Boyfriend's son, Terror, is only 15 months younger than Princess D. Our kids have spent 3 long vacations together and numerous "play dates" on Skype. Even though Princess D has always referred to Terror as her little brother, it is on this trip I believe a real sibling bond is developing.

Terror is naturally competitive and wants so much to prove to Princess D, that even though he might be younger, he can keep up with her. When we get to a flight of stairs he screams "I want to be first!" When a button for a lift or crosswalk needs to be pushed he screams "I want to push it!" If Princess D is holding The Boyfriend's right hand Terror will want to hold it refusing to hold the free left hand. If we are eating a meal he has to eat more than her. Getting dressed becomes a race of who can win, and if he doesn't win then he declares that it wasn't a race after all.

Princess D has taken most of this in stride with the understanding that he is younger and someday he will grow out of this phase. There have been a couple of instances when Princess D has simply had enough of the "little brother" behavior reducing her tears of frustration and us having to adjust their behaviors. We set ground rules like making them take turns pushing buttons, or making him hold the door open for everyone if he insists on being the one to open it.

Then there are the moments when they just play together, or when he helps her with her video game, or when he wants to cuddle with her to watch a movie before bed, or when he insists that she sit next to him, or when he told a waitress that Princess D was his "big sister". Those are the moments when she remembers that Terror is the "little brother" she wants around ... even if he always wants to go first.

England 2011 - Day 5

I love to check out new sights and try new things whenever I am in England. There is so much history here that you can discover something around almost every corner - ruins dating back to the Roman times, a graveyard where a famous author is buried, a statue representing a child's nursery rhyme, or a 16th century castle. I could never get sick of this country.

This is my 5th visit (including a 2.5 month stay) and since The Boyfriend and his son lives here I am beginning to feel like England is my second home. It is so rare that all four of us are together that we try to maximize the most of our time doing really creative activities to entertain and educate the kids while sightseeing. But, today we woke up to a very grey and rainy morning in Essex, so we decided to spend the day doing "normal" family type things.

First on the list was going to Tescos to pick up some things like water, toothbrushes and reusable bags. Then we took the kids to an indoor play area so they could run around. After a little over an hour of climbing, running and jumping they were hungry so we headed to McDonald's for lunch. There is nothing better to do on a rainy day than to see a movie. We grabbed some candy and headed to "the cinema" to see HOP. After the movie we did a little shopping at The Disney Store. The day ended with take out Chinese food at The Boyfriend's parents' house.

Even with the cold, damp weather; the frustration of the kids bickering at times; and my PMS today has been lovely because it was REAL LIFE. Something I wish was more often than a just few days a year.

England 2011 - Day 4

Today's post will educate you on what a traditional English breakfast consists of. You will see pictured on The Boyfriend's plate:

1 fried egg
1 hash brown
2 sausages
3 pieces of bacon (which is more like grilled ham)
baked beans
1 whole grilled tomato
1 slice of toast
1 slice of black pudding

Now for those of you that don't know what black pudding (a.k.a.blood sausage) is, let me enlighten you ... it is vegetables (sometimes meat) and spices shoved into a pig or sheep intestine and filled with sheep, cow or pigs BLOOD. Then the sausage is boiled to serve. It can also be deep fried for those who prefer their blood sausage crispy.

Non appetite!

Ooops ... I mean Bon appetite (that was a Freudian slip by my Droid auto correct).

England 2011 - Day 3

Most Americans know Cadbury cream eggs and mini eggs that are sold for Easter. What you might not know is that the man who started the Cadbury company was a Quaker. Since Quakers don't drink alcohol they resorted to tea or cocoa. Mr. Cadbury owned a tea shop in London. With his colorful and decorative store windows he became very popular. As demand for his cocoa powder grew, Mr. Cadbury moved his business into the English countryside. The Cadbury company started to branch their business into chocolate which eventually became the famous Dairy Milk Chocolate.

Unlike any other company, Cadbury  believed in treating their employees like family. They offered medical benefits, flexible working days, and a community for their employees to live in. The village of Bourneville was built around the factories offered the Cadbury employees schools, hospitals and homes.

Even though Cadbury was taken over by Kraft a last year you can still visit Cadbury World - one of the original factories in Bourneville. The factory has been transformed into a playground, exhibits, restaurant, rides and of course a store all dedicated to the origins of Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate. It is like a real life Willy Wonka's chocolate factory!

Today was my third visit to Cadbury World, but it is a favorite for the kids (and me of course). From these pictures you can see why ...

England 2011 - Day 2

Today we went to Warwick Castle, which dates back 1,100 years. It was built to protect the village of Warwick from Danish invaders. Now it is the perfect place for kids to experience what a Medieval castle was like.

Princess D and Knight Terror had the best time. In the Great Hall the kids got dressed up and listened to stories told by a princess. They both learned how to shoot a bow and arrow (D was not bad either). We climbed up a very steep spiral staircase to the top of the castle and got to see amazing views of Warwickshire and climbed back down while exploring the castle. We watched an eagle show and learned about the royal rat catcher.

After 6 hours of castle fun we were all knackered. I think we will all sleep good tonight!

Happy 2 Year Anniversary, @UKCharlie!

You would think that after 9 trips going back and forth to see each other saying "See you soon ... I love you" would get easier. Well, it doesn't. It gets harder.

The Boyfriend and I are starting to transition out of the Honeymoon Phase and into the Comfortable Phase. The past trips have been about sightseeing and adventures. This trip was about day to day normal life. There is still passion since we go months at a time without having physical contact, but we find simply falling asleep in each other's arms and waking up to each other's kisses can be just as amazing.

This trip we used the weekends to spend quality time with Princess D, playing with Chloe and having dinners with my parents. We spent the week at our company conference ... apart during daily sessions and meeting up during breaks and meals. We lazied around watching movies while cuddling on the sofa. We took Princess D to school and Chloe on walks. For me this was as real to daily life as it gets. And, I loved every minute of it!

Tonight standing in the middle of LAX international check in I found myself unable to let go of him. I wanted to memorize how the smell his cologne mixed with his skin, how strong and secure his hand felt around mine, how our lips molded together when we kissed. These are things I don't get to experience on Skype.

When I was finally able to let go of him, I watched The Boyfriend walk through the winding security line. It was torture being that close to him without being able to actually be with him, but I waited until I could no longer see him. It was then I was able to walk back to my car. Daily life will go back to how it was before ... without him. The one side of my bed is empty with his scent still lingering in the sheets making me miss him even more.

Today marks our 2 year anniversary. A day when we should be together. Instead I am trying to fall asleep in my room while he is trying to sleep in a plane on his way back to the UK. Where ever he is my heart is with him and his heart is here with me ... and that I know is real!

Happy anniversary, honey! I love you. I will see you soon.

I am thankful

It is that time of year that Americans give thanks for all that we are blessed with ... our freedom, our homeland, our futures. What we are really thankful for is in the details of our lives ... the every day realities. Here is what I am thankful for this year ...

I am thankful for my daughter. She is an amazing child who has been through a massive life change over the past couple of years. Through it all she has stayed loving, healthy and happy. I am so proud that she is a normal 5 year old kindergartener. I am a very blessed mama!

I am thankful for my parents. I really don't know where I would be right now if they weren't always by my side supporting me, helping me, encouraging me. They have gone above and beyond the call of parental duty. They have given us a roof over our heads, food on our table, clean clothes on our back, security and unconditional love.

I am thankful for The Boyfriend. He has provided guidance without directing me. He has provided love without expectation. He has provided security during unexpected times. He has provided generosity asking for nothing in return. He has provided friendship to the ones I love. I couldn't have asked for a better man to spend the rest of my life with.

I am thankful for Miss. She is my soul sister. There is so much similarity between our beliefs, what we love to do, the things we want in life. She has been incredibly loyal and supportive through the darkest and lightest times. I know our friendship will last a lifetime.

I am thankful for The HC. They are 9 women who I was incredibly lucky to meet in college. Fourteen years later we are still close. We have celebrated marriages and births of our children. We have supported each other through break ups and loss. These women amaze me with their talents, loyalty, love and spirit. I am blessed to call them my friends. (Don't bother asking what HC stands for ... its a secret between the 10 of us.)

I am thankful for my job. It is not my dream job, but it pays the bills and provides benefits! I work hard and this company gives me flexibility in return. Because of my job I was the breadwinner in my marriage and now I am the sole support of my daughter. With so many Americans who don't have jobs right now I will never take mine for granted!

I am thankful for my puppy. She is a handful, but so perfect for our family. It is amazing how such a little creature can bring so much joy to a house turning it into a home. I love being greeted by so much happiness after a hard day at work. I love snuggling with her and my daughter in the morning. She has brought so much laughter into our lives!

I am thankful for this blog and social networking. It has been a big part of my life for over 5 years. It allowed me to be creative while finding unexpected friendships. Because of blogging I discovered how photography and writing can be therapeutic. It has pushed me to stay current in the quickly changing world of technology which my job has benefited from. It has provided a little extra income and perks I didn't expect when I first started out. I really enjoy this strange online world and plan on sticking around!

So, tomorrow I will give thanks for all of these things and so much more while some stranger carves turkey for me and my parents (we are going out to eat!). Tell me ... what will you be giving thanks for?

Happy Thanksgiving!

30 Days of Truth - Day 12

I was raised in the San Fernando Valley during the 80s when the "valley girl" trend came about. Without even realizing it until I got to university, I had the stereotypical "valley girl" accent. Common words in my vocabulary were (and still are) ...

"like"

"for sure"

"dude"

"rad"

"awesome"

"totally"

After almost 20 years of not living in The Valley, my accent has gotten muddled (especially since I talk to a Brit every day). But, after a couple of glasses of wine you can hear that "valley girl" accent come out. I remember the first time I met The Boyfriend's family his younger cousins were fascinated with my accent because I sounded like I was straight out of a movie like Legally Blonde.

If you get me started on a topic I am passionate about you might have to tell me to slow down. Even my own parents have told me I talk to fast at times, that they can't understand me. I proactively tell clients to warn me if I start talking to fast during presentations. It is this reason I didn't take a job that required public speaking.

To make it worse my voice sounds childish. I can't stand hearing myself recorded. Miss is lucky that I am willing to do vlogs with her for 2 Hot Bloggers + a Bottle of Wine. I have had someone ask me on the phone if "my mommy is home". I don't sound like a mouse, I just sound young. This just adds to people thinking I am much younger than I really am.

Put of these things together ... I have a childish sounding, fast talking Valley Girl accent. It is not a trait I brag about. It is not a trait I get compliments on, like, ever.

Don't even asking me about my singing voice ...

30 Days of Truth - Day 6

Exactly a year ago today you were here to celebrate your birthday and surprise Princess D. The 3 of us had such a great time at Disneyland together! I loved being able to spend such a special day with you.

The Boyfriend's birthday at Disneyland

It has been an amazing year since that day!

We have probably earned more airline mileage than most normal couples do! You came to me for Valentine's Day. Princess D and I came out to visit you and Terror. We met in New York. And, you made the biggest trip here with your son and ex-wife in tow. Not matter the distance or time different our relationship has grown stronger. We have fallen even more deeply in love. know what we want for the future. In between visits you have challenged yourself even more to make sure we have a future as a family.

bliss

You were a good dad when I met you. Over the past year you have become GREAT dad! I love watching how you play, teach and love your son. You have such a strong bond with him that can never be broken. It is the relationship you have developed with Princess D that has really amazed me. You only get to physically be with her less than 10 days a year, but through phone calls, playing goofy games with her on Skype and writing her letters you have become so important to her. I can't imagine you not in her life.

Super Dad

I know that this upcoming year is going to be even more challenging. We have an uphill battle ahead of us in order to become a family. The one thing I hope for is that I never have to spend another one of your birthdays apart.

I love you, honey! Happy birthday to my wonderful Boyfriend!

30 Days of Truth - Day 5

There are so many things I hope to do in my life, but the one thing I really hope to do is travel more. I have a very long list of places I would like to go, but The Boyfriend has always asked what my top 5 place to travel to are. So, here they are ...

ITALY
When I was in university all of the Spanish and French courses were impacted, so I was forced to take the next best language available ... Italian. After 3 semesters of it I was determined to study there and travel around for a few months, but I was an English major with a focus in British Literature and my parents felt that studying in England would be more beneficial. They were right. I loved everything about England and being there made everything I was studying come to life. I have yet to go to Italy. After years of not practicing Italian I have forgotten most of it, but my desire to travel the country has not changed.

BALI
More specifically, I would like to go on a yoga retreat in Bali. Yoga was a huge part of my life for 5 years, but I haven't found time to fit it in lately. Bali is remote enough that I can unplug off and simply cleanse my body and mind from all the stuff I clutter it with.

PRAGUE
It has become a very popular tourist location, but I have always wanted to see it. The cobble stone streets, the castle, bridges, cemeteries, Gothic buildings and cathedrals. It would be a photographic dream come true.

FRENCH
I have already been to Paris. I am more interested in traveling the wine country -- Bordeaux, Champagne, Provence, The Rhone Valley. It would be the ultimate 2 Hot Bloggers experience!

JAPAN
Specifically I would love to travel to Kyoto, Tokyo, Nara, Takayama and Usuki. I am fascinated with the culture and food. The scenery, temples and shrines would be camera candy!

The Boyfriend loves to travel too, so I hope we get to see these places together some day.

The next plan

This past week has been exhausting.

For the first few days after The Boyfriend went back to the UK I couldn't sleep well. I could not sleep without feeling him against me or his arms wrapped around me. I guess you could call it separation anxiety.

Then came the first of the bad news ....

PLAN B: The Boyfriend's ex-wife will relocate with their son to San Diego. This will allow The Boyfriend and I to get married and start our family.

Was it the bad weather? Was it being intimidated by all of the work it would take for her to get a visa? Did she not like me? Was seeing her son having fun in a family that didn't include her? We will never really know because she has given us every excuse with nothing really solid behind her decision.

Then came more bad news ...

PLAN C: The ex-wife allows their son to live with us so that he can be educated in San Diego. When school is on break he lives with her in the UK.

PLAN D: Their son visits us on his breaks from school in the UK. (She said maybe.)

All of the day dreams we started talking about out loud quickly got replaced by nightmares. My separation anxiety changed to full blown anxiety topped off with depression. Any control I thought I had I no longer have. I have been crying every day no matter how much The Boyfriend tries to convince me that we will get this worked out. Then I realized last night that there is only one thing I could control in this situation ... I could end our relationship.

But, I couldn't even bring myself to write it out. I knew that this option cannot be our list of plans. The heartbreak it would bring would be much worse than the wait for him to move. That realization alone has helped my anxiety and depression subside.

So where do we go from here? Keep focus on our next visit at the end of the year. Stay busy to fill up the lonely hours. Remember what brought us to this point.

late night conversation

Next plan ... try to sleep. Tomorrow could bring more news.

San Diego "Staycation"

You have probably wondering where I have been. I actually didn't go anywhere! I was on a "staycation" while The Boyfriend and his little Terror came to visit from England. Even Miss, Anthony and The Kid came down for a couple of days.

The "family" on the USS Midway

Did I forget to mention that The Boyfriend brought his ex (Terror's mum) with him!

For the past year The Boyfriend and I have been trying to figure out how we can get us in the same country. I am unable to relocate Princess D to England, so that ruled Plan A out immediately. Plan B presented itself. The Boyfriend's ex mentioned that she wanted to move to the US. So we invited her to join us for the week. We figured that if we showed her the perfectly sunny and 75° San Diego she would WANT to move here immediately.

I took them to San Diego Zoo, the USS Midway and Disneyland. I took her shopping, fed her huge American food portions, and set her up with university and job interviews. What was even more important was showing her the sibling bond her son Terror and Princess D are developing.

Terror & Princess D

Unfortunately, Mother Nature decided that San Diego needed lots of rain. Typically this time of year we have Santa Ana winds causing brush fire warnings. This past week instead of hanging out at the beach in our swimsuits we wearing rain ponchos and boots.

We don't know if she will want to move here which is forcing us to start working on Plan C, but overall The Boyfriend, the kids and I had a wonderful time together.

Ultimate Family Vacation

Sponsored By

Cheerios® is giving you the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, your ultimate family vacation. As part of a paid promotion for their “Do What You Love” Sweepstakes, Cheerios® is sponsoring my post today about what my ultimate family vacation would be. Read mine, Enter the Sweepstakes for a chance to actually win your own fantasy family trip or one of a bunch of other great prizes.

When I think "ultimate vacation" I think ocean front penthouse in Maui or traveling Europe or a spa trip in Bali.  Then you throw "family" in the middle of those two words and it becomes a totally different itinerary! My family consists of me and my 5 year old Princess D plus The Boyfriend and his 4 year old Terror. Vacation for them means amusement parks, swimming pools, and room service. So, how to you make a family vacation "ultimate" for the kids and the parents?

I live only an hour away from the original Disneyland in Anaheim and we have annual passports, so I think ultimate for us would have to be Disney World!  I haven't been to Disney World since I was a kid, but everyone tells me you have to give yourself at least 5 days there. To make this an ultimate magical experience ... fly direct first class on Virgin America from San Diego, CA to Orlando, FL and stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in the Grand Suite.

All four of us LOVE Harry Potter and since we would be in Orlando, FL might as well go to Universal Orlando to see The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™! To make this an ultimate magical experience ... staying two days at Loews Royal Pacific Resort in a Jurassic Park Kid Suite.

After a seven days of theme park fun The Boyfriend and I would need to seriously decompress and the ultimate place in Florida would be at The Breakers in Palm Beach.  We would want two ocean front rooms with an ajoining door - one with a king size bed for us and one with 2 double beds for the kids - so that we would have some privacy. A couple of days of indulging in spa treatments should get us ready for the trip home and back to reality.  But spas aren't for kids, so to make this an ultimate experience for them ... Kids Camp at the resort!

One last note that would make this truly the ultimate vacation ... going in the Spring when the weather in Florida is still mild.

Now that would be THE ULTIMATE family vacation ... a mama can dream!

Don't forget to enter the “Do What You Love” Sweepstakes, for a chance to win your own ultimate family vacation. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.

BlogHer '10: The good, the bad & the ugly

I have been drowning in work since I got back from BlogHer '10 in New York that I haven't had time to write anything. Seems like my client's can't handle me taking 4 days off! But this weekend Princess D is with her dad and The Boyfriend has his Terror, so I have some time to quickly write this post before the puppy wakes up from her nap and wants to play. So, here is the good, the bad and the ugly about BlogHer '10 ...

THE GOOD

The Boyfriend is not, I repeat NOT, a blogger. I introduced him to Twitter and have to remind him to check Facebook. Having him come to BlogHer '10 was a HUGE deal for both of us! He has always been very supportive of my social media obsession and is really curious about why we do what we do. Most of you know I only get to physically see him about 20 days a year, so this was of course the was the BEST part about the trip. But, what made him coming on this trip even better is that he got to meet most of my online friends. He even enchanted every mommy blogger he met with his British accent. I have to give him the Boyfriend of the Year Award for wearing a picture of Miss as a mask at the CheeseburgHer Party! It is things like this that make me love him more ...

The Boyfriend as @JustOneMiss at The CheeseburgHer Party

The second good thing about this trip is seeing friends ... some I get to see every couple of months, some only once a year at the BlogHer conference, and some I have never met face to face. These people provide an incredible online network and support system. I learn from them. They challenge my thinking and creativity. They have opened my world up to more opportunities. They are why I go to these conferences.

With @shuggilippo @undercovermama @EmmieJ @undomesticdiva at #sparklecorn

Then there is the conference itself! This is my second year attending the annual BlogHer conference, so I can only compare this year to last year. This year the expo was HUGE ... 2 full floors of vendors! The parties at the conference location were bigger. And, there were suites to visit. But this also leads me to ...

THE BAD

The conference was almost too HUGE. There were events taking place at other hotels nearby the conference location happening at the exact same time. There were sessions that were happening at the same time forcing me to choose because there were not repeated at another time. There was so much SWAG to bring home I had to check an extra bag AND ditch some stuff. And, I only saw about half of the people I wanted to see.

BlogHer '10 ads on the revolving doors at the Hilton New York

I know I see her about every other week and she is my BFF, but I didn't get to see Miss experiencing another BlogHer conference with me. She was supposed to come this year. In fact, we had made all of our plans (flight, apartment rental, sightseeing) together with our boyfriends ... a double date long weekend. Sadly, about 2 weeks before we were to leave she found out that her new job wouldn't let her go. One of the goals for attending this year as to introduce our new blog 2 Hot Bloggers + a Bottle of Wine. I represented both of us, but made sure she wasn't forgotten.

2 Hot Bloggers at #sparklecorn

THE UGLY

I never would have chosen to go to New York in August. I don't mind heat, but I hate humidity that can't be relieved by a nice tropical ocean breeze or a dip in the sparkling clean Pacific Ocean. What makes New York humidity even worse is that the thick air is mixed with dirt and exhaust that sticks to your skin, hair and clothes leaving you with a black film that I washed off every time we got back to the apartment. A day of walking blocks and avenues sightseeing and shopping then going down into the inferno New Yorkers call a subway station pretty much takes a year off your life. Have you ever seen what happens to Whitney Houston when she sings? Within 5 minutes of a song she is sweating so much it is dripping down her face and neck ... that is what I looked like every time we were in a subway station. It's not sexy or even remotely attractive. The only thing I can say about New York summer humidity is that it makes a decent sunset.

View of NYC at dusk from Top of the Rock

Along with all of the SWAG, I also brought home a not so pleasant stomach infection and must have given it to The Boyfriend (and I heard other's got too). Neither of us were able keep anything in our stomachs for 5 days. The stomach cramps and fevers were almost as intolerable as the New York humidity. I still don't know why we got it, but I am going to blame it on all of the food sampling at the BlogHer '10 Expo.

In the end it was worth the trip! So, will I do it all again next year? You bet I will because BlogHer '11 will be here in my hometown ... SAN DIEGO! No getting up at the crack of dawn to catch a flight out of LAX! No hotels or apartments to coordinate roommates with! No worrying about how to bring home all of the SWAG! All of the money I get to save I can put towards a full conference pass! So stay classy San Diego ... we have a conference to host!

Going the distance

I met The Boyfriend at a work conference January 12, 2009. Not one day has gone by since that night that we haven't talked. I never imagined two people could have a a relationship with over 6,000 miles of distance between them. But here we are, 18 months later and still going strong.

I get a lot of questions about our relationship. How did you meet? How often do you see each other? Will one of you relocate? But, the biggest question is how do you make it work.

Like any relationship it takes respect, compromise, open communication, trust and love. But you add 6,000 miles to the mix and you have to take all of those elements to a much higher level. I believe there is a science behind a long distance relationship ...

1) You have to like talking on the phone, or at least learn to like it. I have never been a very big phone talker. But, at the time I met The Boyfriend I need to talk and he was willing to listen. He listened to the tears, the anger, the unknown before the conversations became what they are now. Of course hearing that British accent on the other end of the line is pretty hot too!

2) TXT and IM when you are unable to talk. Since TXT is pretty expensive internationally I recommend getting a phone that has some form of instant messenger (*cough* Blackberry). You should take lots of photos and send them to each other to show what you are doing or where you are.

3) Get used to being on camera. Skype is the next best thing to sliced bread. It makes everyday life less mysterious. You can have meals together. Watch a movie together. Just be "around" each other.

4) Send letters and care packages. Mailing anything is expensive, but email is just so easy. Everyone loves getting mail because there is extra effort put into it. Plus, who doesn't love getting hand written love letters from your man?

5) Don't be scared to share. Create a shared Google calendar. Set up a shared FTP for photos, files, whatever. This cuts down on time and money.

6) Of course the most important element is when you are together make every second count. Time together becomes precious when you only get to be together 20 days a year.

Long distances relationships can work. I have 18 months to prove it!

Happy anniversary, honey! MWAH!

NaBloPoMo - Day 10: How to melt away stress

To say that the last two days have been stressful is an understatement. Stressful enough that I spent a good portion of yesterday in tears.

I don't like to talk about my job here because, well, I don't want to be dooced. What I can say is that I am working 14 hour days attempting to launch two national website while juggling almost 30 clients ... and one of them threw me under the bus.

To add to my pain The Boyfriend was close to absent today due to his job. I needed him. Even if it was just seeing him on Skype or hearing his voice on the phone. Today we really did feel over 6,000 miles away from each other. It didn't help.

Tonight I was unable to work thanks to the wonders of technology. It forced me to take a break. So I turned on So You Think You Can Dance, BBIM'ed with Miss and Kel, then followed up with (finally) watching the season 1 finale of Glee. These things melted my stress away!

Tomorrow is another day on the job. Wonder if I listen to the Glee soundtracks all day will help keep me motivated enough to not throw my laptop out the window?
